Abstract

The Shared Services Centers (SSC) are presented as a business model based on a collaborative strategy that allows separating and centralizing activities, thus optimizing time and resources. In Colombia, the growth trends of these SSCs have significantly increased. This study analyzes the structure of the components of IT Governance models for Shared Services Centers in the energy sector through a quantitative approach with descriptive scope. It begins with a state-of-the-art review of the SSCs and the issues they face, followed by a description of the IT governance model elements, including components such as Processes, Organizational Structures, Principles, Policies and Reference Frameworks, Culture, Ethics and Behavior, People, Skills and Competences, and Services, Infrastructure and Applications.
