Ethical Statement

Following the guidelines of the COPE (Committee of Publication Ethics), the editorial team of the journal Ingente Americana is committed to: being responsible for everything published, trying to satisfy the needs of readers and authors, striving to constantly improve the journal, defending freedom of expression, maintain the integrity of the academic record, always be willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when necessary, and to privilege ethical and intellectual criteria over others. For this reason, peer review and expert guidance will prevail in our work, in order to strengthen the academy and support initiatives designed to reduce misconduct in the publication processes, as well as the education of researchers regarding the ethics of publication. publication.

In relation to the authors and taking into account the COPE guidelines, Ingente Americana makes it clear that: the decisions of the referees to accept or reject a document for publication must be based on its importance, originality and clarity, without ignoring the validity of the study and its relevance. The editors of the journal will not reverse decisions to accept the publication of manuscripts, unless there are serious problems in this regard. Likewise, Ingente Americana makes a public description of its arbitration processes, and the editors are prepared to justify any important exceptions to such processes. In line with all this, Ingente Americana will publish guidelines for authors that will specify everything that is expected of them.
