Conceptual analysis of violence against women on a private sphere and its inclusion in Restorative Justice

El presente arti?culo es el resultado de una revisio?n y reflexio?n teo?rica acerca de la conceptualizacio?n de la violencia contra la mujer en el a?mbito privado (violencia dome?stica). Tiene como objetivo principal analizar la importancia de contar con un bagaje claro sobre el desarrollo del concepto general de violencia hacia la especifi- cidad de la conceptualizacio?n del abuso que viven las mujeres por parte de su pareja o expareja, aunado a la relevancia de su tipologi?a y consecuencias para su manejo bajo la filosofi?a de la Justicia Restaurativa en el proceso de imparticio?n de justicia.

Abstract
This article is the result of a review and theoretical reflection on the conceptualization of violence against women in the private sphere (domestic violence). Its main objective is to analyze the importance of having a clear background on the development of the general concept of violence towards the specificity of the mistreatment conceptualization that women directly suffer as a vulnerable group in the face of the abuse of their partner or ex-partner, alongside with the relevance of its typology and consequences for its management under the philosophy of Restorative Justice in the process of delivering justice.

Resumo
O presente artigo e? resultado de uma revisa?o e reflexa?o teo?rica sobre a conceptualizac?a?o da viole?ncia contra a mulher no a?mbito privado (viole?ncia dome?stica). Tem como objetivo principal analisar a importa?ncia de contar com uma bagagem clara sobre o desenvolvimento do conceito geral de viole?ncia ate? a especificidade da conceptualizac?a?o do abuso que vivem as mulheres por parte de seu companheiro o ex-companheiro, concomitantemente a? releva?ncia de sua tipologia e conseque?ncias para seu manuseio sobre a filosofia da Justic?a Restaurativa no processo judicial.
