This article will show the results of the analysis and study of mental health experiences of teachers of an educational institution in the department of Atlántico, a population that consisted of two teachers from different areas, for which a convenience sampling was used. The study was framed in a qualitative approach, based on phenomenology-hermeneutics, seeking the approach of teachers' experiences, based on the case study method, through in-depth interview techniques, discourse analysis and field diaries divided into three procedural stages. Many people find it difficult to combine the demands of work, personal growth and family tasks, so much so that when the work does not fit together it affects organizational effectiveness and efficiency, which is why the study took into account the work environment and its different stressors on their health as teachers, both outside this context and the family that generates stressors that the teacher can bring to their work life. In the results it was possible to understand the mental health of teachers, describing important elements of their subjective wellbeing as an essential component for their quality of life, taking into account their daily coexistence in the Educational Institution for which they work and their personal experiences.
