Este artículo de reflexión analiza el retraso de los conceptos retraso y moderno en algunos de los grandes del pensamiento social brasileño. Cada uno toma como referencia moderna una imagen de un país supuestamente modelo y, de ella, lleva a cabo el retraso de diagnóstico de Brasil. Para ellos se realizó un análisis teórico de los autores y apunta a la tendencia colonialista que permanece en estos análisis. Mientras Tavares Bastos y Raymundo Faoro refieren la demora brasileña a la herencia ibérica arraigada en el Estado –y el remedio se someterían a una reforma política– Oliveira Vianna y Florestan Fernandes, en el Estado, tienen una estructura moderna implementada en una sociedad marcada por los efectos de la historia colonial. La conclusión es que la América Latina, por extensión, debe reconocer su propio camino y encontrar la modernidad, ni más ni menos atrasada que las demás naciones del mundo occidental.
Abstract
The analysis of the performance on delay and modern Brazilian social thought taking as a model an image of a country for carrying out the diagnosis. For this purpose, a theoretical analysis of authors pointing out a colonialist tendency was conducted. is addressed in this paper. Each one takes Meanwhile Tavares Bastos and Raymundo Faoro attribute the Brazilian thought delay to the Iberian heredity established in the State –and the solution would be surrendered to political reform in the state– Oliveira Vianna and Florestan Fernandes, have a modern structure implemented in a society established by the effects of the colonial history. As a conclusion, Latin America, must recognize and find its own way and modernity, not less backward than other nations of the western world.
