Abstract

The use of new technologies makes it possible to increase the quality of performance of any professional, and no
reason to argue that the law from this reality. Many law firms have been implementing remote offices to be used in
trials, which should make long journeys, and where you need to access information that can be accessed in real time.
This allows access to any document, file, source of information, including online consultations with colleagues. Thus,
the attorney engaged in this new world of technology can access resources that allow you to exercise his profession
better. We can not forget that the current society we are part is characterized by an immense proliferation of scientific
advances and by the constant development of technologies. Therefore it is appropriate to make a description about
the impact of new computer technology in the legal task. It is emphasized that for the year 1995, and there were 175 legal expert systems, distributed as follows: fiscal (15), social (11), field trial (8), environment (7), criminal matters (7), mercantile (7), workplace (5), sentences (5), guarantees (5), wills (4), estate (4).
